Giclee prints allow you to reproduce your original artwork on demand without sacrificing quality or longevity. To do this, we’ll convert your original artwork into a high-resolution digital file. Next, our graphic designers will finetune the file so the final image matches your original artwork. Once you approve the final image, we’ll print the art giclees using archival inks and acid-free substrates that will never fade or degrade over the years.
Giclee is a French term meaning “to spray,” which refers to the way an inkjet printer works. However, the printing process for art giclee requires a much larger and more detailed printer than your average desktop inkjet printer.
Giclees are printed on high-quality archival materials and can come in a variety of sizes. The giclee method is important for artists and photographers because it’s the best way to reproduce your fine art and photography without sacrificing the quality or longevity of the final product.
We only use archival certified light-fast inks for giclees. If handled properly, our giclees will last a lifetime and can be handed down from generation to generation.
You can choose the archival paper or canvas your giclee is printed on to create the look you most desire for your fine art or photograph print.
